Our Charleroi Personal Care Home is a one-story facility featuring windows that provide ample natural light which residents enjoy. Our Charleroi home has 30 beds and all rooms are semi-private. All rooms are furnished, and each has a private bath fully equipped for those who are handicapped. Nurse call buttons for those who need a little extra help are located in the rooms and the baths.
Television with cable service is included in the cost of care, and phone hook-ups are available in each room. All rooms are carpeted. Linen, housekeeping, and laundry also are included. A Wander Guard System allows extra security for your loved one. Cameras are located at all exits and within common, public rooms.
The Charleroi home is just six blocks from the downtown business district. Residents who are able can enjoy a walk to town and back. The Mon Valley Transit Authority is located just across the street, making public transit easily accessible.
The Charleroi home has a spacious dining room, and here, too, residents can enjoy three home-cooked meals prepared daily on site. The common living room is appointed with reclining chairs and a television. There is an activities room where residents enjoy bingo, music performances, parties, and other activities. The beauty/barber shop is open on Thursdays. Weather permitting; residents can enjoy the outdoors while sitting on a lovely covered porch just a few yards from a peaceful stream. This property, too, is beautifully landscaped and maintained, both inside and outside.
