‘Simple C’ is part of the Meaningful Day program. It’s an intuitive touch-screen that promotes memory, engagement, and better communication. Key details of a resident’s life story are uploaded to an individualized touch-screen therapy unit, which then uses pre-recorded voices, music and photos of family members or favorite caregivers to stimulate positive memories and prompt healthy routines, such as participation in mealtimes.
At The Lantern at Morning Pointe, trained staff listen to learn the resident's preferences and needs. Each care plan is tailored to assure dignity and enhance quality of life. Individual care plans are reviewed regularly and when necessary are coordinated with outside medical providers allowing the residents’ ever changing needs to be met today and in the future.
