Edenton Primetime Retirement Center offers elegant independent living, assisted living and respite care in historic Chowan County, in Eastern North Carolina. Originally incorporated in 1715 the town was named Edenton in 1722 in honor of Governor Charles Eden. Edenton was established in 1728 as the colonial capital of North Carolina, and soon became the cultural and economic capital as well. Today, visitors can revisit Edenton’s past with tours through a beautiful historic district. Over 25 homes and public buildings comprise the North Carolina State Historic Site, and many special events and seasonal tours bring visitors to the town. The waterfront is a favorite spot for boaters and there are several quaint bed and breakfasts in and around the town. The surrounding countryside is home to many plantations that once fueled the area’s economy.

Edenton Primetime features sitting rooms, relaxed dining room featuring a baby grand piano, quiet front porch with comfortable rocking chairs and 14 private suites. Edenton sits directly across from Chowan Hospital and is located in close proximity to the area’s medical park.
