Our retirees enjoy outings to nearby historic cities such as Fredericksburg, Boerne, Gruene, and New Braunfels. Some of our day trips include fishing on the Blanco River, antique shopping, and going to the Fiesta River Parade, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, and the San Antonio Zoo to name a few.
Our retirement community offers studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom senior apartments. You may choose from private suites as well as affordable companion living. Our spacious senior apartments range in size from 435 to 800 sq. ft. All senior apartments include kitchenettes, private bathrooms, large closets, cabinets, and individualized climate control.
Emeritus at Amber Oaks partners with many organizations in the surrounding community. Our wellness department provides assistance to our residents by referring them to home health, physical therapy, medical equipment companies, and physicians, as health care needs change.

This helps to educate and inform them regarding their health care concerns. In conjunction with hosting events in our community, our staff presents educational information to local senior daycare centers and independent living communities.
We host church groups, neighborhood watch, scrap booking clubs and dance and piano recitals. We offer educational seminars related to topics such as health and safety, financial solutions for seniors, Veteran’s Aid and Attendance, and a range of support groups that benefit both our residents and the local community.
